Is The Spanish Nook authentically Spanish?

Yes. The Spanish Nook cooks traditional Spanish recipes using Spanish ingredients, including croquetas and salmorejo made in-house, and sources charcuterie, Manchego cheese and olive oils from Spanish producers. The same products used in the kitchen are sold in the deli.

A little corner of Spain in Dunfermline

We opened The Spanish Nook on New Row to bring Dunfermline the Spanish food we grew up on — not an approximation of it. Cortados and tostadas through the week, and on Friday and Saturday evenings a full tapas kitchen: croquetas made to order, deli boards, montaditos, and plates meant for the middle of the table.

The deserts were also incredible! Love that its BYOB - service was 5* also! We loved it and had a really nice time! Our chorizo comes from La Rioja, with a mild flavour and natural casing. It has just the right amount of oil to release its rich flavour as you enjoy it, making every bite a little more special. And when it comes to our croquetas, it’s not just about what’s inside. Each one has been carefully paired with a sauce chosen to complement and enhance its flavour, bringing the whole bite together.
